On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) changed the status of the current outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from a ‘public health emergency of international concern’ to a pandemic. Since then, this outbreak has had a significant impact on business-as-usual activities.
After careful consideration, NZIFST and the IUFoST Board have decided to postpone this Congress and are considering a range of date options at this time.
We remain excited to host the Congress at a later date and expect to be able to provide an update before the end of June 2020.
We are continuing to monitor the situation daily and following advice from the New Zealand Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation.
Please check back here for updates.
