The Aotea Centre is a purpose-built performing arts and events centre. The large auditorium, renamed in 2019 after famed New Zealand soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, is the Auckland home of NZ Opera and the Royal New Zealand Ballet. The venue has numerous breakout rooms and exhibition spaces as well.
Plenary sessions will be held in the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre and the programme breakout rooms are Limelight Rooms, Waitakere Rooms and Hunua Rooms throughout the venue. Multiple foyers with host the exhibition, poster displays, registration and information, catering and coffee.

You’ll find Aotea Centre on Aotea Square, Queen Street. It is a handy downtown location and is walking distance to many hotels, restaurants and sights.
The closest parking is at Civic Car Park is a short walk from Aotea Centre. It is important however, to remember that sometimes this is fill so make sure you have a backup plan – or book a space in advance.
